Manually Removing QuickTimeTake the following steps to remove QuickTime: - Download and install the Windows Installer CleanUp utility.
- Run this utility. It will show you a list of programs. Find QuickTime and remove it.
- Go to the folder c:\windows\system32 and delete the files QuickTime.qts and QuicktimeVR.qtx
- Go to the folder c:\windows and delete the files QTFont.for and QTFont.qfn
- Delete the folder c:\program files\quicktime
Now all files belonging to QuickTime have been removed. You can use the registry script below to delete all registry keys belonging to QuickTime. remove_quicktime_registry_stuff.reg (zipped, 3 KB) |
